I've updated the mod (deleted the old files first) but I still get "Setup Validating".
Any suggestions?

I just re-installed the game because I had a few other issues. It works perfectly now.

Fix? It works fine in 1.8 just as it did in 1.7.xx

I think you have not installed it correctly. Please ensure you have installed the all the folders in the "contents" folder and not just the "cars" folder.

The only difference is the clutch in 1st gear when pulling away, which may be implemented in an update but it is not necessary in the short term so it may not be tomorrow that we update the car.

Reworked suspension (softer ARBs and spring rates)
Slight changes to the aeromap/ further decrease in downforce on on low wings setups.
Minor tweaks to the drivetrain
More accurate Collider placement

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who downloaded and donated and to those who followed this mod from its inception right through to its release (and numerous updates).

The first 1.9 sound build is being designed as we speak

(But we will be waiting till the inevitable 1.9.1, 1.9.2 etc before putting together the update)

There's something i noticed at the f2002 top speed that bothered me so much.

The highest top speed it can reach with low downforce is almost 369 km/h.

In assetto corsa however, no matter how much i lower the downforce, i can reach a maximun of 361 km/h.

I don't know. It was almost a decade ago since i saw it but it was in an old f1 game call f1 challenge 99-02 it could reach 330+ km/h with high downforce while at low downforce it can reach 368+km/h.
