Wow these new tricks I have I want to test something, I love learning new things here and there, well crazy useful crap anyways :D:D

wasn't planning on buying this Ferrari, I mean ferruccio ;) cos I got too many F1 cars for AC already but the level of Detail looks so damn high I think its a must have mod already. Also mad 3D skills bro.

Thanks :)
just tried some speed modelling, and still took me 14 minutes start to finish :D
anyways we have a seat belt part :)

needs a few bolts ill make them now most likely take me another 14 minutes :D
no I think there some on the wheel ill check :D

Well did some UV then came back to it, anyways this 1 part is finished,
way higher than I wanted but what to do, obviously I can just remove the smoothing and shamfers, but we like **** smooth like silk well almost :D

What about the actual car? Is the exterior finished?
Needs wing mirrors, a small part next to the engine intake vent like a aero part, and some cuts for the suspension in places then the rest of UV finishing, maybe a few days work if that,
just want to finish this interior 100% before doing anymore external work on the car,
but makes no difference either way it all takes the same time whichever way you make it :)
then obviously we need to find someone to paint the chassis.

Crazy detail.

Every time CC has done model for AC the attention to detail just keeps ramping up.

Unreal dedication and perfectionist.

I thought rss f2 hybrid was top and than I open this thread :confused::confused:
:D
Yes its a real problem, I know how to make cars for games obviously to meet requirements given,
but given 100% freedom I just get totally obsessed with the details, even to the point ill spend 3hrs looking for reference to a 2 minute part in 3D,
but what to do, this car as took a long time but also have the 100,s of hand made blueprints and custom perspective views and manuals and details going over them time and time again,
even the team visited a museum to get awesome high res photos, which came in handy also,
but yeah the details for some reason keep getting higher and higher and the quality,
its not my intentions to do so well my 1st thought, but once making something the excitement takes over my mind, and cant stop.:D

So for example here was looking for some stitching for the belts at a later date but was thinking about it last night,
nothing really takes my fancy so decided to 3D model the stitches, IDK maybe overkil,
so made a template then the pattern then the 3D blocks,
7d11c101b5a8120e674e6067a39897cc.png

weighs in just under 1,500,000 triangles,
0ede97e4b5d3fe87bb3470cd875a52e0.png

maybe over the top but at least this way I have control over the quality of what we are making :)
so here I 3d modelled the stitching then created and UV mapped a flat plain of mesh,
and overlayed the mesh just above our main model,
applied multiple map settings diffuse and transparency maps,
now baking to texture, rendering the surface,

I will bake it now then complete the post,
here it is doing the renders now, 2048x2048 maybe 4k would have been better but what to do, :D
735536da3f4eb85e216b5a3b0f501bc1.png

here we have the base diffuse,
ba6f7a9bfe3e35152356b29dbafd4b8b.png

here we have the alpha channel,

combined, diffuse+alpha channel,
0153d365a777548d36b7254dc1551ab7.png

color effect of the desired stitches we would want ect, just a test nothing major going on here,
blue set to multiply,

with combined alpha,

normals,

anyways just an insight into whats going on. :)

So anyways earlier I asked Ilja who creates CM if it was possible to have a HR showroom model/version of the cars even higher res,
he sent me a test version of CM now we can load cars with crazy smooth insane details to glory over, anything is possible now 1M+Tri cars like Forza. :D
