Freeze/Black Screen in AC

Hey there,

eversince i play AC, i have a freeze and then black screen for about one second like every 15 minutes in the game.
Makes races impossible because the car is somewhere in the wall after that second.
Seems to me as if the GPU driver resets.
I have a Radeon 290.

Any ideas how so solve ?
