FSONE 2008 tire question

I've just been trying out FSONE 2008 and really been enjoying it, pretty new to rFactor though so loads of things to get to grips with.

One question I had was with the FSONE 2008 mod, under the vehicle upgrades menu for the cars, do the tire texture options actually make a difference to the performance of the car or is it just a visual thing? So like do the slick texture tires actually roll faster than extreme wet tires?

I only ask because all the other options for upgrades are visual like different camera position and dislpay/hide driver.

how is visual did you drive in spa wet track ?
slick or extreme wet different performance on wet track so you have to use wet tyres ....
slick texture tires actually roll faster than extreme wet tires on the dry track !!!
with the line or no line tyre and slick tyre i didnt feel any difference in the dry track.....

When you "change" your tire from the upgrades menu, It doesn't affect physics. So it's just visual. You have to select wet or whatever tyres from the setup menu to change the behaving of the car...
