G27 Not Recognized by Windows 10 - Old Fix No longer Works

For a long time now there's been an issue of Windows 10 recognizing my G27 as the Driving Force wheel. There's been a fix to this problem but it reoccurs after a while and you have to implement the fix again. But now, that fix doesn't work anymore and I guess Windows 10 is forever recognizing my G27 as something else therefore rendering my G27 useless.

Has anyone else found a solution to this madness? Does Logitech give a damn?
