F1 2013 Going Around Corners

Hello,

I seem to be struggling with slower corners. I A.I seems to brake later, roll through the corner faster and get on the power quicker. I am following the racing line, but if I try and keep up, I understeer. For example, I lose almost one second on the second sector at the USA.

Any tips for going around slower corners?

I'm not an expert, but what's been working for me is reducing speed until right before the apex, rather than entering the corner at the right speed.

It helps me when on the last few meters before the apex I'm at 1st or 2nd gear (depending on the corner), at which point I ease off the break and let the engine do some breaking (it's otherwise very hard not to lock the frontwheels).

Doing this I don't lose so much time at the beginning of the corner, and there's not much speed to be carried over slow corners anyway, and I end the turn very stable at the right gear and proper revs.
