no biggy, was always going to happen. The bit about OEMs not wanting Intel and AMD on the box made me chuckle. Looks like some minor win points for Intel there :D
 
I'll miss it. Plus, I never heard of Firepro, and Radeon sounds awful (and it was also the name of a detergent here :D), and they are going to keep those and not ATI? Fail.
FirePro is pretty well known among professional business hardware. Those cards are made to compete with Nvidia's Quadro-cards. Both types are usually based on consumer cards but with some other firmware and drivers they're better for rendering stuff. Also support is much better, usually a broken card will be replaced the same day. That's why prices go up to €4000 or so..
