Good Bye Msn Messenger. Welcome Skype.

I must say I have hardly used good old msn messenger at all in the last year, but I have now made the move to Skype completely. De-activated my live messenger from starting up on PC boot.

Must say that since two years I have been using Skype more and more and it felt like a natural next step to integrate all the services.

Pretty weird actually as for the last 15-20 years msn messenger has been like an institute.

Have you made the switch already?

I never touched MSN. Use Skype randomly and still have ICQ running, but not much into chatting anyway nowadays.
(ICQ is full of **** adverts)

Used MSN when i was in my young teen years, now i don´t use anything but the natural one would be Skype for sure.

Never used Messenger myself. I have an MSN account, but always within Gaim, or Miranda, or, more recently, Trillian.

Don't care much about any changes, as all but one of my regular contacts are on GTalk.

Also stopped using MSN a few years ago since most of my mates had a gmail account and used google's chat. Started to use Skype more and more the last few months though.

Same here, I loved it when I was in high school to talk to all my friends. But now with Facebook and Skype it really serves no use to me and none of my friends are ever online.

Still use Live Messenger all the time! I know I can log onto Skype with my live-account. But what about my Skype-friends that doesn't have Live-Messenger?

i used msn for 6 years when i was at school, always 30 of us in rooms chatting away and having laughs, very good for quick convos also & that all important webcam chat

after hearing that Microsoft brought Skype, i was not sure how it would plan out, but Skype is better then ever before imo, definetely worth it & im glad i switched 2 days ago
