Good jump? Fanatec CSR Elite FM4 (2013) to CSL DD (8 Nm)

Hello, anyone who wants to give me an honest opinion is welcome!

Current set
Fanatec CSR Elite FM4 wheel (2013)
Fanatec Elite Pedals (2013)
Fanatec CS Sq 1.5 shifter

Future set
Fanatec CSL DD base with 8 Nm booster
Fanatec F1 v2.5 wheel
Fanatec V3 Pedals
Fanatec CS Sq 1.5 shifter (kept)

All on a Simetik K2 rig (soon upgraded with the DD support kit pieces).

Thanks!

The CSR is pretty old, I imagine it's probably at least 20%-30% less powerful/smooth than a modern CSL 1.1/Elite +.
That being said, the gap between a CSL DD and CSL 1.1 isn't as big as the gap between CSL DD and G29/T300/etc which is the target audience of the CSL DD.
Fanatec didn't intend for people to upgrade from a CSL 1.1 to a CSL DD, 8 Nm or not. They were targeting people who were thinking of whether to jump into Fanatec or not, or people looking to replace their T300/older Fanatec gear.

I'm sure they're more than happy that people are stumbling over themselves to buy the CSL DD, but my point is that it might not be as big of a jump as it would be for people going to it from a G29.

You'll definitely notice the power, but maybe the smoothness will be similar? I imagine the speed will be a huge surprise to you though.
