!!! GPLM Rules Announcement !!!
In order to avoid the "elevator issue" (a team WCC in 59, then last in 60, then champion again in 61), I'll set the game as I originally wanted to set it : 4 races per round instead of 3, still 12 races per season, which means 3 updates per season instead of 4.
This way, every "setup" will last just one race longer, making a top car good and fast for a slightly longer period. Currently, a car can survive 2 or 3 setup windows at the top, which is less than one season : it's too short. Now it will still survive only 3 setup windows but it will be a whole season.
The reliability system won't change. A driver will still finish 2 races on 3. But with 4 races each round, he may retire twice during a round. However, in the end, each driver will finish the same amount of races (which is 8 races no matter what).
It will be introduced in 1962, so after the next "contract reset" !
