GT3 AI - Nurburing too slow?

AI too slow
gt3 in nurburing is slow af on 100% difficulty

them cars brake at random flat out straights like wtf ??
I think they hit brakes instead of just letting off the throttle and they lose way too much speed..
I just checked the car i was against at just before wipperman the line he takes is just crazy slow

They do it all the time in different tracks.
I stop playing against the AI because they're not challenging. Period.

How about giving them a head start, say ten seconds and see if you can beat them in a 10 lap race, if that's not enough give them 20 or 30 seconds?
