Hello everyone, I'm trying with a friend to create a lan session in GTR2 with Hamachi to no avail. Tried everything (I assume) with firewalls and settings. Any suggestions on how to achieve this??

Yes I did. Hamachi has to be on top of your Internet Connection.
Now GTR2 will take the IP from hamachi and find your virtual lan.
- Go to "Network and Settings"
- Change Adapter Settings
- Choose your hamachi adapter and then properties
- Then Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
- Click Properties
- Once it opens up click Advanced
- In new window at the bottom you will have automatic metric checkbox and some number under it.
- Put 10.
- Do the same for your Internet Connection (ethernet/wifi) and put 20
Now GTR2 will take the IP from hamachi and find your virtual lan.
Also, because we had some mod differences, we had to do this
if you experience online mismatch with your favorite GTR2 league then :
- edit your PLR file in GTR2\UserData\USERNAME.PLR with notepad, go to line 529 at "Report Mismatches=" and set it to "0"
