Guages won't apear.

In the latest racer, the guages for the car will not appear in the screen. How do youj fix this?

Read some of the other threads in this section, I'm sure it has been mentioned and a fix posted. I just can't remember what it was.

here is a file containing a new Racer v0.6.5.5 .exe file. simply unzip and place .exe into your racer folder, make a backup of original.

if file appears as a .txt for you (which i am nearly certain it won't)
right click on your green "Start" button
click "Explore"
click "Tools"
click "Folder Options"
click "View" tab
uncheck "Hide Known Extensions for File Types"

and place the .exe into your racer folder, then you can uncheck "hide known extensions" for future computer errors when creating a file.
the gauges are not as good as the newer versions, because they seem to be visible through things like the steering wheel, it's odd but it works. thanks to Ruud Van Gaal for the file, me and many of the non-CG players really appreciate this fix.

let me know if the speedyshare file expires. if some people could provide mirrors for this file it would be greatly appreciated.
