This company (not sure if was their CEO) confessed a while ago that DRM don't work.
Also, they have used a certain name in many of their titles, from a man now passed away.

Another hint then:
When it was revealed that the protagonist was going to receive both a make over and another voice, for this game, it caused some minor storm. Was not popular at all. Also, the company has made a few awesome First Person Shooters, where you in most cases also have a few squad mates that you can issue orders too. Like breaching doors and such.

Not this game thou, but hopefully you can figure out the company's name and therefore this game.
