Help needed with Screenshots

When I want to make a screenshot in GTR Evo, it always doesn't look as good as in-game, so my question is: How do you get the best screenshots?

the first thing is to get your best windows resolution and the the best ingame resolution and game detail, for me it always work best when i take close screenshot. other then that i don't know, hope it help.

I create another profile in game and put ALL the settings on MAX

i ramp up the resolution to 1920x1080 and that seems to produce good screenshots. Increasing the detail on replays to 'full' may also help, but may hinder performance slightly. (I haven't found this however)

2 examples below; one is at 1280x768 with the aston through eau rouge, while the other is at 1920x1080 at istanbul. High detail, High textures, Medium shadows, everything else low!

FRAPS is more of a video capturing and FPS-monitoring tool. You probably won't get any screenshot value out of it.

From my experience the screenshots from fraps are slightly inferior to the normal method. (when saving as .bmp files anyway) Like the previous poster said, saving the files as .png might work better!

Is there a way to save the screenshots ingame as .png? I don't know why i would want it cause bmp is uncompressed image and as as such, is at the highest quality already (or the same quality as you see it ingame..). Anyway, even if i don't have any use for it, i still would like to know how to do it ...

I just learned that it is best to upload it to imagehost for instance, but when I upload it there and put the link to the forum I can see the screenshot, but when I click on it, it takes me to imagehost. How can I avoid that and see the screenshot in full size on RD without going to imagehost?

put the image BB code either side of the direct link - {img}link{/img} (but square brackets).

That's just imagehost, try tinypic as that allows you to view it fullsize, quote my post to see how its done.
