HELP! - Three screen setup

Hi guys
I have a question regarding a three screen setup.
Today I have one screen a Asus 24 inch screen 144mhz. Should I upgrade to a bigger screen (27”).
If I run with a 144mhz screen in the middle should the to screens on the sides be 144mhz as well?
