Hi, I'm totally new to rFactor 2. I only played a bit of Live For Speed a few years ago and dusted off the old wheel and pedals.
I am learning to drive the Honda BTCC. The pit limiter makes a chugging/knocking sound when you get to 60 mph and you try to accelerate past that. I know you have to turn the pit limiter off when you exit the pits.
However, with the pit limiter off, I noticed that when I turn the steering wheel very far to the left or right I hear the same chunking/knocking sound that the pit limiter makes. Again: I definitely have the pit limiter OFF. I also hear this sound when I go off track accidentally, although usually I am also making big steering adjustments.
Is there another setting I need to address? Or is this the car's way of telling me something, like I'm in the wrong gear or what?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
