How do I connect this QR to the buttonbox?

The button box is threaded so not sure if a longer bolt through the face of the wheel is a good idea? Or is it preferred to have an adapter and attach the QR to through the back? Is there any adapter that I can find (in the US) that can mount the QR from to the button box in the back?

While the photos are nice, whether the button box holes are threaded
and/or how it was intended to be mounted is unclear..
(perhaps by first removing its rear plate?)
Supposing that it is threaded, then a spacer flanged on both ends is wanted.
