How to install new tracks?

Can't seem to find gamedata/ locations to install track downloads
Program files has GTR2, R factor But the Race 07 folder is empty
checked the steam folder and found a list of tracks but this is not where to install ( I tried)
Any ideas?

Originally the Gamedata/Locations folder does not exists with the original installation of the game, for the first time you have to create it for yourself, and copy your track folders in there, they will appear in the game.

Default path:
C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/your account name/Race 07/....here you need to put the Gamedata folder to this level, next to Custom skin etc... and the Locations folder into the Gamedata.

I'm assumeing its the same for the cars?

You can't add new cars (models etc.) to Race 07, only new custom skins for existing cars.
Skins are simply added to the CustomSkins folder under Race07 Folder.

Will the different skins cause a mismatch?

No, one of the good things about Race 07 is that if you don't have the skin installed for a car that someone else is using, you will simply see the default skin for that car (without a number) but there will be no mismatch problems.
