How to mount pedals to pvc?

I am in the process of building a rig right now, its not all pvc but I do like the angle that the pvc has when I set my fanatec inverted pedals to it. Should I just build a platform for them or is there a sturdy way of doing this to the pvc?

when i had a PVC rig i had a wooden base i mounted with half circle clamps to the pvc then screwed the pedals onto the wood.
