DiRT Rally How to paint bonnet air duct or whatever?

Hi everyone, need a little help. I'm new to modding and need to know how can i paint bonnet/hood air duct of this fiesta. please see image.
I modify the main file as well as the speco file but it does not work.

These textures are shared between the cars.
The one you're looking for is "grills.dds" in : "cars\generic\car_gen_main_high.pssg"
