F1 2014 I Will Embargo F1 Game on Xbox One - What's it Like on Steam?

Actually to be more precise, I will embargo the Xbox One and convert to the steam version for F1 2015. In my experience Steam can be a bit slow to connect online in some games in multiplayer, especially if mods are in use in a lobby. So what are F1 games like to play, generally on Steam? (connecting with other players online on the Xbox is generally very fast, in my experience, 1 - 2 minutes).

Reason for me is that nothing for the 360 is compatible with the Xbox 1; controllers, wheels, nothing.
