improve rf2 fps new cpu or a new gpu?

Hi all maybe i can find the same info searching around in isi forum or here.
I have a q6600 + an ati 6850 i see that changing the resolution and details setting in dont improve the fps (i have always around 50-60 fps,if hrd and others stuffs are enabled i get 20-30 fps).
I decide to buy an i5 2500k cpu,with a new mobo and 8 gb of ddr3 ram,you think i will gain some fps? or i have to change the gpu too?
rf2 it's very heavy for the cpu or gpu?

Try to download new graphics drivers. This will give your fps a big boost.

Don't go overboard buying new hardware for this sim yet. The performance is all over the place at the moment because it is an unoptimised beta, not the finished product. Even some people with great systems are getting FPS problems, and some with mediocre systems are getting no problems at all.

Wait for the finished sim before deciding if you need new hardware.
