Marko is the real deal

Being in a sort of little-brother country status for so long, it has helped to have our drivers constantly on the F1 and none from the other side of that pond... Makes Finnish feel like we are way better at something since we usually follow what Sweden does, either copying it or avoiding it. But most of finnish F1 fans would love to see the age-old rivarly in the sporting field (and in everything else) get another form in the King of Automotivesport, ie we would love to beat you in F1...

Did anyone notice that Marcus got a seat in DAMS GP2 team. Winner of last two championships. 2011 Romain Grosjan and 2012 Davide Valsecci. They also have rumours of F1 engagement.

Yes I spotted it as soon as the news came out . I'm soooo hopefull for 2013. I really hope he can make use of the team and improve his results and being able to challenge for the championship.

A lot of GP2 drivers finishing in the top ~4 the last years have gone and raced in F1, so as long as he is up there there is a chance.

Marcus second fastest overall!

In the afternoon, which was the last pre-season test session, Marcus had the focus on race simulations. This meant he didn't do any fast laps. But, with the time of 1:29.217 he set in the morning session he is the second fastest driver over the 3 day testing in Barcelona. A great receipt of his capacity!
