Is it possible to make a mod so that sparks fly?

Is it possible to make a mod so that sparks fly when they touch the underside? I think it gives a realistic touch as in iracing or gtsport eln replays etc ... rfactor 1 had them and I wonder if some moder could get it would be a pass that you think

This is Renato's response to the request in the Wishlist thread in the Beta forums, from June:

We played a bit with the existing effects but the results weren´t satisfactory. The way the code is structured means all cars share the same sparks texture which by itself is a showstopper as not all cars emit sparks when bottoming. Changing this at this stage is more trouble than it´s worth.
