Is there such a thing as endurance simulation competitions?

You, know, I guess, 24-hour races which is actually downscaled to 7 real hours perhaps(I'm just coming up with a random number).

Does anyone on here have the balls to stay up 24-hours with a friend and do an endurance sim.

Gran Turismo 5 forced the player to do 24-hour sims for 24 real hours.

Some leagues have real distance endurance races, varying from 6 to 24 hours. Teams have up to 6 drivers for the longer events, but most have about 3. They swap during pitstops with the in-game swapping. Some might share computer aswell.

So yeah, stop racing agianst A.I. !
