Lack of posted laptimes in leaderboard challenge?

How come afer the new update there are approximately less than 10 laptimes posted on each track in the leaderboard challenge? Before the update there were hundreds per track. Is everyone just playing MP?

I suspected they'd be tempted to do this now that the game is so different. The old times weren't really "real" compared to how the cars can be driven now.
