Its looking quite likely that kunos might be bringing scanned laguna to AC:

I think marco also hinted in the stream where he joined stefano that we would be likely getting one of the tracks that was right at the top of the survey they did way back, seems very very likely now.

Well, if you search for it you will see that Kunos did a laserscan of laguna seca so I don't think anyone will do a mod or work on a mod of it.
I read about "end of the year" the official track will come

Because it seems to me that I remember reading something about it. Maybe I'm wrong
