Oops, yeah, 38/40 is for Streets and the 90s are 43/45.
See if that doesn't help with the heating - I just ran 5 laps @ Highlands (nice, heat-generating corners in that one) and everything seemed totally normal to me. 26C/Clear/Optimum, cold pressures 34/35, hot pressures came up to 43/45 with an occasional jump to 46 in the back when i got a bit drifty. Once they were up to temp they held steady for 3 laps.
Keep in mind that despite all the carbon fiber it's still a heavy car. A little more than 60% of that weight is over the rear wheels. And it's pushing 595bhp. It's not going to be easy on its tires in the best of circumstances, but I don't think it's too bad.
