F1 2010 Legend Difiiculty

I am having trouble getting this, I choose the most hardest setting when starting career but it only gives me expert? does legend need unlocking....

Legend is the Name of the AI Difficulty in the sub-menu. The four pre-defined overall difficulty settings have different names.

Ive checked all options and only lets me select expert....

Just an example of how easy it is, I won the first two races by 20+ @ bahrain and 10+ @ melbourne in hrt car, I am hoping I can get legend to make it more of a challenge.

if you're on expert difficulty you are already racing vs legend ai.
When starting a new GP in career mode in your trailer, you can set difficulty there. Scroll down and you'll see what level the ai is at. You can not access this when already in the GP.

Sadly legend ai is real crap on some tracks, including the first 2 GPs of the season where they are quite off the pace of a competent human driver. They are decent enough on some tracks, and are only really challenging on Catalunya (even too fast there lol).
Your best bet is to get some PC mods for the ai to make them more of a challenge, notably 'slow corner fix'.

I have the true mod ai but to be honest it makes them crap lol they were more of a challenge before I put it in, didnt back up either

They are whopping my backside on shanghai catalunya malaysia and monte carlo, just cannot suss them tracks out at all.
