Likes appearing multiple times in Alerts

I've been swamped by this:

That's one "Like" to two posts but i often get three alerts from each of them.. Not a big issue but wanted you guys to know.. I do hope i get triple "Like" counts

Its possible he liked it, unliked it, and re-liked it again several times.

Or it's multiple posts. Someone liked each post in the old F1 setup directory, i had 40 likes in the space of 30 secs.

Nope, it's two posts and one like in both of them. This has happened so many times that i've ruled out like-unlike-like combo.

Firefox 10.0.2 that has been very sketchy lately.. I got only one like from you, just like it should do.

I had three from the same thread earlier & I was using Fire Fox on my Ubuntu set-up.....
He didn't 'like' me though ( lol) just a notification that he'd posted....
