Logitech G29 Type G socket

If it'is not existing, it doesn't break.

I just received my G29, ordered from Amazon Germany and I discovered that it has a Tyoe G power socket.
Fortunately I could use a laptop cable to connect the adaptor but I would like to know if this is a standard or shall I request for a spare part.
