Low framerate?

I run with settings on high but it seems like the latest patch has "killed" my FPS. Before version 1.0 on my I5-3570k and R9 390 on an SSD running from the back of the pack at most tracks, I would get 80+ FPS without issues (shadows on medium or high) but now I get ~45 FPS on the same tracks. Any ideas on what changed or to change to fix this?

For what its worth, setting the anti-aliasing mode to multisampling vs (the suggested) supersampling in the ATI control panel gave me like 100 more FPS.
