F1 2011 Low GPU usage (wont pass 35% gpu usage)

Hi,

Anyone else having this weird problem? When I'm in a race my GPU usage wont pass 35%. I monitor my gpu usage using msi afterburner.

both dx9 and dx11 have this kind of problem.

basic spec:
Amd athlon II x3 440 3.0ghz
Palit Gtx 560 1gb
3gb ddr2 800

Odd man. Try the new Nvidia BETA drivers. 285.27s I believe. Im running 2x 570s GTX and have 80% usage.

here is my spec:
AMD Phenom x6 1055T
EVGA 570 GTX SLI
Asus Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ mobo
Corsair Vengenace 16GB RAM DD3

Done testing the 285.27 driver, still the usage is 25-30~.

I know my proc is abit bottleneck with the gpu but with other games the gpu runs 80-95% usage.

This is weird. I hope in the next patch or next driver update this will be fix

F1 2011 is heavier on the CPU with other tasks such as simulating the physics for all 24 drivers and interactions, so that might be why the GPU is seeing less utilisation than other games. Get a better CPU, if your mobo supports a AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz, that would fix it.

^ nice point, but right now I dont have enough money for an upgrade.

only good thing is that at lease my fps is still 35~ while playing.
