Mercedes come out on top again in Barcelona, this time thanks to team debutant Nikita Mazepin.
The second and final day of testing in Barcelona would be far more eventful than Tuesdays running, with plenty of teams getting out on to the circuit and a number of new faces making an appearance, or reappearance in the case of McLaren, with their respective squads.
Despite the changes, it would still be Mercedes driver atop the times come the conclusion of running - with young Russian rookie Nikita Mazepin managing a solid day of activity despite a brief spin, amassing no less than 128 laps for his new team as he gapped second place Alex Albon by almost a second and a half.
New faces for today would come in the form of Antonio Fuoco for Ferrari, Jack Aitken in the Renault, Dan Ticktum for RedBull and Oliver Turvey and Sergio Sette Camara sharing driving duties for McLaren. Nick Yelloly and Nicolas Latifi would once again be called upon by Racing Point and Williams respectively.
