I downloaded a sound mod and have lost sounds for this car...anyone know where or how I can get default sounds?

As has already been explained to you in another post, you must run a Steam integrity check. In future you also might want to backup any official sounds before installing a sound mod, it's a much easier way to get back to the original files.

Delete the sfx folder before you do the integrity check
