Monaco GP Debrief: Hamilton gets lucky 44 after Ricciardo’s Pit-Stop Disaster

Something to keep in mind when questioning Ricciardo at the end is tire degradation when you're stuck behind someone. We've seen it several times this year already, where even the Mercedes just can't keep tires from being overly worn when you're chasing an opponent. That's something really out of the driver's control, and on a track like Monaco where it's one of the hardest tracks to pass to begin with, I'm sure it's doubly frustrating.

To me, the race-craft award goes to Hamilton for shutting the door on Ricciardo...twice. Not blocking, but surely a talent that is very very rare. Ask Rosberg.

Ricardo's pit blunder aside, that drive from Hamilton was truly one for the ages. Stunning stuff!

sure, if you consider good racecraft having put yourself in the position to have to short cut the chicane to stay in front of someone and then when you realize you still don't have him covered attempt to drive him into the wall...

Rest of his race was fine.
