THQ Nordic and Rainbow Studios have released a new trailer for the latest addition to the long line of Monster Jam games.

Monster Jam Steel Titans is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this June 25th, and as the build up to release draws ever closer, THQ Nordic and Rainbow Studios have revealed a new preview trailer from the game - giving players a glimpse of the latest in a long line of Monster Jam games that dates back to 2002's Monster Jam Maximum Destruction.

Set to feature no less than 25 real world trucks within the title, all of which Rainbow Studios describe as "authentic in looks, handling and behaviour', plus both highly detailed stadium locations and a "massive open world" map to explore, Monster Jam Steel Titans certainly looks like a very interesting new game, and hopefully a return to form for the popular franchise.

I'm no die hard monster truck guy or anything, but it really is kind of sad that MTM2 is still the last good monster truck game. Twenty years running now. I hope this one ends up fun!

Blend in the destruction engine from Red Faction 2, Wreckfest, or BeamNG, and some decent shock physics and I'm so in.

Am I alone in wanting a career racing sim though, where I work my way up from county fairs to Monster Jam? I love the drag racing aspect.

FYI, there are sites online where you can DL an all in one dosbox executable and relive old times.

This must be fun!
Anyone, please also bring the NHRA sim game back, with all the bells and whistles of today's graphics, physics and ffb

It's the first authentic, somewhat realistic monster truck game since MTM2 in 1998.

That being said, the performance on consoles is quite poor and the physics are bizarre. Under about 100 km/h the game drives pretty realistic and looks really good, but as you increase speed the trucks will do all kinds of crazy ****. Most noticeable, is a massive tire issue. Anytime a tire touches the ground, it acts like there is load placed on it. So you'll be in the middle of a realistic looking flip or doing some kind of nice looking stunt, and one tire will brush the ground at a slightly imperfect angle, and the truck will just shoot off and do like 15-20 more moon-gravity-tier flips.
