Music while you race?

Do you listen to music while you race? Or is the engine like a symphony to you?

In most cases I agree with the majority here. Engine only, but sometimes, you just need to let yourself burn round the track with some seriously bone crunching, blood curdling METAL :bang::bang::bang:

Engine, I'm sure I would start missing gears if I was listening to music.

I don't really listen to much music when i'm on the computer which is suprising because i'm on quite a bit lol.

I dunno there are some engines that sound like crap to me. I love the corvette's because it just feels like your own blood is pumping through the engine...those V8's sound soo organic to me. The aston is a little high pitched, and the rest of the GT cars are bland. The f3000 cars are missing some raspyness' i dunno it really depends.

Depends on the track as well. I know the Ring GP by heart, so if i can find a song that matches my lap times some how (2 laps = one song) i would know when to do stuff.

Otherwise it is the engine for me.

I wish we had some production cars that we could mod...like Gran Turismo stuff. Like small little 4 bangers (honda's ) then i would never even think about listening to music....Vtec sounds amazing.

depends if im mucking about or not on games that you drive about on i sometimes have music on but you cant beat the music of a ENGINE !
