Need For Speed: SHIFT & SHIFT 2 Unleashed

Need for Speed: SHIFT E3 trailer

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gecn7cNccjo[/ame]
If anyone hasn't heard of E3 we can sum it up simply as the biggest games event of the year with every games company fighting for eyeballs with some of the best games videos of the year. Over the next few days there's going to be a flood of information about SHIFT with the first of the videos being revealed here.
The video takes us through a hectic lap as we bounce from crash to crash, from car to car. It's a great chance to see some as-of-yet unannounced cars and take a good look at the interior modelling of the 911, a right-hand drive Nissan R35 and the incredible interior of the Lamborghini Reventon. Anyway, you're probably you're busy watching the video to still be reading anyway so we'll be quiet and let you watch in peace.

NO WAI! They are going to have Spa? Not one of my favorite tracks but I am waiting to play that tracks with some finally good graphics.

Shift on E3 on G4 tv

Just saw the shift showcase. Don't get your hopes up guys looks like grid. Game is super arcadey. All cars will start as "stock" and will be upgraded to "race" standards...

It's all about flashy lights and graphics, no gameplay. I can't say I've played it but I got a pretty good idea about it.

Need for Speed: Shift E3 presentation and BMW M3 give away

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df4K0_F1so4[/ame]

Patrick Soderlund at his E3 presentation about NFS shift. Nice impression about the gameplay, the skill build up, and amazing damage model and he closes with a fantastic prize.

Everybody that steps by their booth at the E3 and sets the best time goes home with a BMW M3 :rotfl:

I really hope that gameplay they showed was not set to anything remotely close to what they call a "Sim" That was merely a VERY flashy and good looking arcade racing game IMHO.

Interesting leveling system, I will give it a try as I did with pro street. I was let down then im not holding my breath :)

Thanks for the video

E3 Conventiong is held in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Lol Cris if i where you i would take a plane to LA (one way) and drive back in a beemer. If somebody can take that prize there it must be you!

I wander how this version of the nordschleife will look like!

trackmania.jpg

:rotfl:Or perhaps that's Laguna Seca ;)

lol Bram i had the same throughs on Cris post :)
i think they are on a right way with leveling system but its not taken far enough
and i am still verry concernt that it will just a arcade race
but time will tell when they release a pc demo

Need For Speed: SHIFT Driver Profile Video

Here is a new SHIFT video demonstration the Driver Ranking system in the game. Depending on your style of driving, you are graded...so you can either be considered a good or bad driver depending on whether you want to be a clean-liner or just prefer to slam into your opponents to get ahead.

Maybe it's just me but I am actually super excited for this game after seeing this trailer.
