I hope it works well as a driver that has been bummed by a curb of death at the most inopportune moments.

I would be more impressed if we could look closer at what they are doing, before and after. But the game is very closed right now. I don't think we can even get useful telemetry to judge tire effects.

@kunos keep impressing me. Currently, they have the best tyre model in ANY sim.
