Codies took their sweet time getting to this point, but they've (finally) absolutely nailed it, IMO. I've had heaps of fun with F1 2018 with the promise of plenty more to come.

Still not sure it's worth $60, but I think that's more about me being a crusty old guy who remember when you could get a whole bag of hard candies for a nickel and still have change left over for the trolley ride home.

Oh, and to answer the question in the OP - a couple things that would take this game from a home run to a grand slam for me:

1) Add GP2 to career mode. Bonus points for going even further back down the ladder (F3, etc).

2) Add playable historical seasons, even if this requires filling in some holes with placeholder teams. Bonus points for every classic track/layout they throw our way.

Major stutters need to be fixed...they are breaking the game! Every lap I am getting 1 second pauses where the game STOPS and then starts again..most times mid corner. resulting in a spin or hitting the wall. Lots of people are complaining about the same thing on various forums...

Im running a Ryzen 1600 / GTX 1080 TI Aorus Extreme edition / 16Gb Ram / Asus PG279Q 27: Gsync screen..

First day I did a benchtest I noticed tearing even though fps never dropped near to refresh

Try bench test at Belgium and watch the big light posts

To be fair I have not done settings or driven, waiting for usb adaptor for pedals to use new wheel a month so no ACC either :( lol p

"红牛一队" literally means "RedBull 1st Team", "红牛二队" literally means "RedBull 2nd Team"(yes that's how we call them in China). So in Chinese "红牛一队" can only refer to the Team called RedBull Racing, not the name "RedBull"

Because originally, there's no "Team 2" under the Toro Rosso branding in F1.

Similar to HAAS that got translated to "哈斯" (HA-SE), Toro Rosso should be translated to something like "多肉 - 肉瘦" which is even funnier if you are native Chinese. Anyways, to those who can't read, "多肉 - 肉瘦" translates to "more meat - skinny meat", but it's pronounced as "TOU RO RO SO" which can also be good if the sound is all you are after.

Devs surely knew using "Redbull Team 2" or "红牛二队" is more appropriate.

Dont give a rats ass for this update!!!
The season is close to the end and next race there will be more updates to the real cars and we get back to square1.

They should fix more important issues like stupid pit animations...
