No cars on grid online

Hi guys, how do i get the cars to appear on grid when they disappear while waiting for a race to start?

Default keys: press + then - , it switches the car to the person in front of you and back and so it refreshes all the car models. Very simple, fortunately and i have no clue what it actually does, just guessing, it refreshes something in the pipeline. i don't care what.
