Noob question.... how do I drive out of garage?

Hi guys,
sorry for what is probably a stupid question but I just bought Race 07 and am using a Logitech DFGT. I went into do a practice race but I cant seem to exit the garage. Revs and steering work, Auto gears and clutch are enabled.
So what am I missing?

oh and the setting in the controller menu ''Hold button for gear'' is switched ''off''

Have you selected buttons for up/downshift?
I know this has been addressed before but I can't find it in a search of the forum[yet].
What happens if you select manual shifting?

Thanks Dennis, I think I sorted it out by setting up a key for the handbrake and had to switch between auto and manual transmission, hit the handbrake and back to auto...something like that.

You don't need to map a handbrake to leave the garage. Just throttle.

Handbrake doesn't even work in RACE 07 i believe
