F1 2011 not letting me race ghosts or save times in TT

i'm playing on xbox360, i try loading time trial and it says "please wait while you are signed into the f1 2011 game server" then says "you cannot upload or download ghost laps because you are not currently connected to the f1 2011 game server."

i keep trying and its still not letting me save times, any ideas?
