There are a bunch of office chairs that purport to be good for sim racing. Other than basic ergonomics, there are really only two things that I could think of that would make an office chair suitable for sim racing: locking casters and a swivel lock. I can't find any of these chairs with either of these features!! ?????
Locking casters can be bought separately and are easy enough to retrofit, even if it is incredible that a racing chair doesn't already have them. There are also other solutions for the feet/casters.
But are there chairs with a swivel lock? Even regular office chairs, not necessarily the ones that look like a racing seat? If you are not using a proper sim rig with a solid mount for the chair, don't you need to prevent swivelling and rolling of the chair?
