I had to give the ovals a shot as I would like to run Indy at the ovals. Well I think I do for now anyway...lol... That may change when I actually get to it...hehe
So I am in the C license trucks now and it's pretty fun, and pretty intense. I don't really understand how it all works yet with the rules and all that kind of thing. Such as there is a wreck and we are all slowed down under yellow. Then all of the sudden I'm being told to let the cars that crashed by me? What is up with that???? I guess I need to find some Nascar rule books online or something since I have never really followed it much at all.
Does anyone else run the Nascar stuff here? I'll have to admit that the trucks are more fun than I thought they would be but my problem is with all this turning left only is that by midpoint in the race I'm leaned over so far to the left that I almost fall out of my chair...hahahaha
OK my next question is about setups. On the road side I have noticed that 18 out of 20 people will give to try to give a setup for people to use. On the Oval side it's as if they are uber topsecret classified and they will have to kill you if you see it. I don't understand that at all.. This isn't real and they aren't going to make a million dollars with it nor are the guys as Nascar going to see a kid in a game and put him in the real thing and turn him lose on a track. It's pixels on a screen people...lol... I understand you can win a bit a cash or prizes but just because you can run the setup very fast doesn't mean that someone new such as myself is going to compete with you. I have met a few guys that were helping someone and I asked a question. They were johny on the spot with the help and setup but that number is about 2 out of 20 compaired to the road side of things. I have also seen a few people go crazy on people too for little mistakes. I find that soooo funny that people get so upset over something that doesn't mean anything. It's really not funny as they sound as if they are about to seriously have a heart attack or something.
