The live envmap does not reflect player or AI cars, afaik.
That's correct, AI only shows in the real mirror.

You can see the AI's shadow though. (car itself is reflecting because of a prerendered cubemap mixed with the actual envmap)

It's probably possible to combine the UV mapped mirror with a cubemap reflection of the car itself. I suppose that's the next step, after the one the Aronde's using, get a bit of both features.


@ using a control map, I'm likely to bumpmap the interior, which if I remember correctly that shader uses the main texture's alpha for reflectivity (also useful for making the gaps in the vent actual gaps). That'll clear a lot of it up.
