problem with escape window "return to pit or exit race"

hi
i have a big problem.
when i start a single race/weekend or practice everything is ok, but when i press the escape key no window pops up where i can "resume ,return to pit or exit race" it just return me to game menu.
I have validated the Assetto Corsa files 2 times and no problem.
i have the pop window in onlineplay but not in singleplayer.
