WRC8 Problem with Getting Car to Move (WRC 8)

After getting my new wheel set-up in-game in WRC 8, I can't get the car to move.

FWIW, all controls are recognized, the car is in 1st gear, the engine revs increase with application of the throttle, but the car stays in place. It's as if it's in neutral, but the gear indicator shows 1.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

FWIW, this is in the Test Area.

Check that your brakes are not fully on without the pedal being pressed.

If when you press the brake and accelerator the car then moves you will need to invert the brake pedal so that it starts in the zero position and then increases as you press it, rather than being at 100% and decreasing when pressing

Thanks. FWIW, I got it sorted out a few days ago. IIRC, the handbrake control needed to be inverted. It was on when it should have been off.

Yep that’s the one… I had both, handbrake on full and foot brake too… nice… glad you sorted it
